The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to the beach, making it perfect for morning strolls and sunset views. The apartment itself is spotless, with a fresh and modern feel that immediately makes you feel at home. The bed and furniture are incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful stay. Not only is it close to the beach, but it’s also centrally located, only a short walk from the town centre. Whether you want to relax or explore, this place has everything you need. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful. Gave me restaurant recommendations, was always checking up on me and if I needed anything. She came to meet me to hand me the keys but you also have the option to get it from the safe. The host is also the owner of a bakery ‘Calé’ which has fantastic baked goods, fresh breads and other food. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

Duncan and Claire have built a really wonderful "rolling" surfing community of travellers who love to surf. Both lodges are in fantastic locations, just a few steps from the sea and all the best surfing beaches, and they are walking distance from Peniche centre. Both lodges are well equipped and impeccably clean. The family have dedicated their lives to surfing and know Peniche very well so the surfing instruction at the surf camp and local knowledge of the area is really top notch and they love to share it. They have lessons in the morning and set up a "beach base" for the day on a chosen beach. If you go surfing in the morning and tent their equipment, you can use the surf boards for personal use and go free surfing with friends you've made during the lesson, in the afternoon - or just chill out on the beach or do your own thing. This was really great as it made it very easy to make friends and make plans with others or to have a base to go off and do things and come back to. They masterfully facilitate a great group attitude to surfing lessons, (everyone said they had made good improvements) ... while creating an ambience for the group to bond and have fun together. I thoroughly recommend here for solo female travellers or couples or friends - I went on my own and had a really good time - met some great people, loads of lovely places to eat/drink and felt I was in the hands of surfing pros. I've come away refreshed, having made great friends and feeling my surfing has improved 😊

Great space, well suited with 3 bedrooms, large livingroom for our needs. Well equipped kitchen - where we could prepare great breakfasts and delicious dinners. Very much enjoyed the coffee machine. Easy living on 3 floors. 2 balconies. Kichen-balcony was big enough for a tight evening dinner of 5 ppl. We stayed 1 week surfing and excursions. Easy close free parking. If I visit Peniche again - I will book this place if we are 5-6 grown up surfers ;) No late partying - it is quite thin walls to the neighbouring apt.

It was nice to have an apartment to ourselves and a kitchen to make dinner etc. It was just a bit noisy. The soundproofing in the building isn’t all that great so we could hear the neighbours upstairs move furniture and their dog barking. The street is quite busy as well. Having said that at night it was quiet and we slept well. Other than that it’s close to town, the supermarkets and the beach although I spent most of the time at baleal beach.

Ubicato fronte spiaggia a Peniche, ad appena 300 metri da Praia do Quebrado, l’alloggio Casa do Quebrado propone un barbecue e il WiFi gratuito. Abbiamo alloggiato nell'appartamento del primo piano che arriva fino alla mansarda. L'appartamento è molto grande, ci sono diverse rampe di scale per raggiungere il reparto notte con tre belle camere grandi. I bagni sono due, uno al primo piano e uno con doccia al secondo piano. La cucina era molto grande e completa di tutto, dalla macchinetta del caffè al tostapane. Abbiamo trovato tutto in ordine con diversi cambi di biancheria da bagno. Bellissima la posizione, molto vicino al parco naturale e comunque comodo in 3 minuti d'auto al centro città e al supermercato. Per raggiungere le spiagge più belle è necessario prendere l'auto, altrimenti sono circa 3 km a piedi. Abbiamo sempre parcheggiato comodamente l'auto sotto casa, è un quartiere molto tranquillo e silenzioso. A 1 minuto a piedi c'è un bel localino dove passare qualche ora in relax guadando l'oceano. Il Sig. Antonio che abbiamo conosciuto alla consegna delle chiavi è stato molto gentile.

Perfectly clean, there is literally everything you need in the kitchen.Everything works. You just come and live there. The location is very close to fantastic Papoa beach, it is quite and pretty close to everything. Very nice house.
