Just make sure you know what it is- no day time electricity, no warm showers and no aircon. But I absolutely adore it here. Total jungle immersion with monkeys and all. The community and chill out spots are also a bug highlight to this place

Odličen hotel! Lega je fantastična. Leži povsem ob plaži, stran od prometnih ulic Ao Nanga. V bližini hotela so številni manjši lokali, ki nudijo pijačo, hrano ali masaže. Tam je možno kupiti tudi aranžmaje za izlete. Tudi hotel ponuja možnost rezervacije aranžmajev. V hotelu je tudi bankomat. Imeli smo družinsko sobo z neposrednim dostopom v bazen - priporočam. Hotel nudi bogat zajtrk z veliko izbire, ki vključuje tudi tople jedi in juhe. Kosilo ali večerjo je možno dobiti v baru ob plaži. Cene so primerljive z lokali v bližini, so pa nekoliko višje, kot se pričakuje za Tajsko.

We had an incredible time! The location is perfect, just a 200m walk to the beach. Our room with a private pool was spacious, beautiful, and kept perfectly clean at all times. The staff deserves a special mention: from the reception and restaurant to the security guards, everyone was incredibly helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet is huge with plenty of options. Don't miss the rooftop pool – the sunsets from there are breathtaking! The gym is also well-equipped for a solid workout. Highly recommended!

The hotel enjoys an excellent location right next to the beach — we only had to cross a small street that is mainly used by pedestrians. Overall, the location is outstanding in many ways. While the hotel is situated on the main street, it is in a quieter section, allowing for a peaceful stay. Shops, massage salons, restaurants, and plenty of street food options are all within easy walking distance. Although the street comes alive in the evenings, the hotel itself remains calm and quiet. The pool is large and very pleasant, with plenty of sunbeds available — we never had any trouble finding free ones. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped. We stayed in the hotel building, and our room had a spacious balcony with a beautiful view of the sea and the pool. The garden area is also lovely and well maintained. We really enjoyed the breakfast, and we had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant several times. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. While the hotel is not new or modern in style, it has a charming, authentic atmosphere and offers all the cozy comforts you need for a wonderful stay in Thailand. We would happily return to Golden Beach Resort at any time and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone.

We very much enjoyed watching the monkeys playing in the treetops right outside our room. The staff was always very friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again in the future!
