Its family run hotel so got bit touch of friendliness. It was opposite the seashore, so good view from the room. We had to come back for additional day for stay , the owner accommodated us without much of questions. Location very near to market so lot of options for shopping and food

Great location across the street from the beach, unobstructed views of the ocean. There's no walkway to the beach, you have to cut through a little parking lot and go over some logs/rocks but once you get across the beach is very private. No amenities though. Hotel is less than a 3 minute walk to the main strip where the night market takes place, as well as many of the restaurants and shops. Room was clean, bed was comfy, and the staff were pleasant to deal with. Our room had a shower and the toilet had a hose-type bidet. Breakfast is offsite - during check-in, you get breakfast vouchers for a little family-run breakfast sandwich shop called "Magic Kitchen" down the street. The food is basic but very tasty and the staff are so nice. We rented mopeds during our stay and we were able to park them for free beside the hotel.
