Very personal, friendly, flexible and helpful host family. Delivery of warm breakfast to room very early in the morning. Barn with open fire, bar, childrens mezonette and fantastic atmosphere.

We were delighted that Guttenbrun is finally open for guests. It is a Mallnitz symbol, has lots of character and it is in an absolutely gorgeous location. We were already in Mallnitz for the last 10 days ( we travel to Mallnitz every year for about 2 weeks in the winter and 2 weeks in the summer) when we decided to stay for a night there. In the end we couldn’t stay due to the reasons below.

The house is just wonderful, like in a fairytale :) It is equipped with everything you might need for a perfect holiday in the mountain. There’s a beautiful, big yard where kids can play freely. In the morning there are plenty of birds and squirrels that come to the feeders and you can enjoy watching them. The host, Ms. Elfriede, is fantastic and her home made cakes were a real treat. The house was very clean and the beds exceptionally comfortable. We’d love to come back to Flattach and Haus Hasslacher!

The host is really friendly, the breakfast was great, the village is really tiny, so you can walk everywhere. The playground near camping was a funny experience

Owner of pension is very kind and they have nice dog which will welcome you. You feel like at home. Beds are comfortable, rooms are ok. They were flexible and able to accomodate one more person in room for 3. Everything was clean, and we had breakfast prepared according our special requests in diet (we didnt want to eat pork, some of us were vegetarian and lactose intollerant). They bought things and served to us. Breakfasts were great. There is shared hotel restaurant space which can be used for gatherings which was awesome. We were group occupying 3 appartments so it was good that we could have gatherings down there and eat there.
