What an amazing experience. The Gite is in a beautiful location with the mountains over the terrace, the rooms big and spacious and comfortable, super modern bathrooms, fantastic breakfast *and* dinner… but best of all is the host, Josiane! I originally booked for one night but I arrived with food poisoning so stayed another night in order to rest and recover. Josiane looked after me like family, cooking me soup and helping me get better. What a beautiful human being. Oh, and - secure garage parking for the motorbike! I can’t recommend it enough!

I was only in Veynes for a very short time. Valérie and Marc were very welcoming and went above and beyond in helping me figure out the best way to get to my next location. I loved that Valérie offered multiple local products for breakfast. Her homemade apricot jam was excellent! And her suggestion to walk along the local river was just what I needed. I highly recommend Au Vieux Tilleul and wouldn't hesitate to come back.

The appartement was superb, beautifully decorated in the tiniest of details, and with all the practical amenities you could expect. We had the most hospitable host I have ever seen, going out of her way to make us have the best experience, yet never being intrusive. Breakfast was outstanding, well beyond what we could expect.
