We really enjoyed staying in the Rietveld room. Basically, it is a whole cottage on 3 floors with a bedroom on the top floor, a living room, and a little kitchenette on the ground floor. The kitchenette provides everything you need for prepping a small lunch or dinner. The cottage was very well heated. I was afraid to get cold but central heating was just on the point. It is a very quiet area and surroundings. However, it is still very close to the center of Strasbourg. If you are traveling in your car this place definitely will give you peace out of the city. I loved being here and planning to be back in the future.

Carole is an attentive host. Breakfast was delicious - fruits, meats, cheese, breads, jams, coffee, tea, juice! We toured the wineries and quaint villages recommended by Carole. SHE EVEN DID OUR LAUNDRY - this is not part of her regular services but instead of sending us to a laundromat, she She went above and beyond for her guests.

The place has everything, from TV and games for entertainment to fully equipped kitchen… lovely b’fast from the local boulangerie and the nice gesture with the crackers & water on the table to welcome you. Didier is super friendly too. The place is spacious & quiet with a little shower room. You can’t hear the road at all.
