if you want to experience a real Japanese staying you should definitely stay at Chiyo and Takao’s guest house! The traditional room is very clean, comfortable, quite and beautiful! downstairs there is a well equipped (shared) bathroom. The view on the garden is peaceful. The plus is the extreme availability and kindness of the owners who helped us in all we needed! really hope to meet the owners again and arrange a good cup of coffee with the Italian machine! Located within a 14-minute walk of Kanazawa Castle and Kenrokuen Garden in Kanazawa, Guesthouse Hakuka provides rooms with free WiFi.

The house is located very close to the Higashi Chaya District, in a quiet residental area. It is well equiped with everything in the common areas. Although the rooms are small, the soundproofing seems to be working well. But what made our stay really memorable is the kindness of our host. To anyone who is visiting Kanazawa, and is looking for a cosy traditional accomodation I can strongly recommend this place.

The environment is charming and beautiful, and the staff was awesome. They do speak english. The breakfast was great. I would totally come back!

Good value for the money. Separate bedrooms for the family members. The staff was able to arrange for us to leave our bags early before check-in so we had time to do more activities in Kanazawa.
