the location is good for hiking enthusiasts. it’s quite and out of the tourism main rote. Hiking devils staircase is one or the most scenic and best hikes I did. another easy hike up the waterfall is only 2.5 km. The staff are absolutely amazing and very knowledgable about everything. Hiking up to Horton plains is also possible from this location but then you should overnight around there.

We ended up paying a bit extra to upgrade our room. Large comfortable bed and pillows. Good spacious bathroom and shower with hot water. Use of a sitting area adjacent the room. We had a great Sri Lankan dinner with lots of different dishes as well. Good breakfast though spicy.

Everything. The room was lovely and had great views. The staff went above and beyond - they’re so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic, but the best part was definitely the on-site cooking class. It was so much fun and so yummy. It’s a bit outside of Haputale but a 300 rupee Tuk Tuk is super easy, and it’s walkable to the monastery down the street which is a much see little attraction. A+ all around!

Owner was amazing, I had a driver with me as it was super late so I asked if he could stay with me through the night as it was too foggy for him to drive back and he accommodated the driver and even gave him dinner and breakfast as per my booking. Greatly appreciated
