A perfect escape from city buzz, rush and heat (in mid July). Enjoying the fresh Atlantic breeze, local cuisine and peaceful village life. If needed to summarise “Smiling places” in two words it would be “Exceeding expectations”. The house is newly renovated and is cosy and tidy. Every room has its own AC. Suite Caminho oversees the road towards the ocean. Thus the sunsets accompanied by the bottle of Favaios are marvelous. We visited all local restaurants and each has a twist of its own. However all share friendly staff. Elisabete and Fernando, the hosts, need a separate chapter to at least partly appreciate their passion towards the visitors’ comfort. Always attentive, helpful and cheerful. Name “Smiling places” is chosen for a reason. Starting from breakfast, which Elisabete modifies according everyone’s preferences, she is doing her best to make the customers’ stay as trouble-free as possible, walking an extra mile by helping to plan the route for day’s trip, helping with transfer to/from metro station or simply sharing the joy of life. And she never misses a chance to surprise. Don’t want to give her the highest rating, as she will become too popular and fully booked for our next visit 😊, but she earns nothing less. Our cordial thanks to you, Elisabete and Fernando, for a memorable escape in Labruge!

This is a wonderful big villa for one family or 2families. We are 5persons had a good time in ground floor. House keeper is quite nice, rooms are very clean. The water temperature of swimming pool is real comfortable. Beach is 200m away from house. There are enough parking place in yard, privacy is very good.

The room was warm, comfortable and quiet. I had a good sleep! Bathing is also very comfortable! This is a very quaint farmhouse, but the room facilities are new and complete. The farm is very close to nature and very beautiful!

Hotel is very close to the airport, our flight was at 7:40, so the last night of our trip we decided to spend close to the airport , but we didn’t expect that this will be the cherry on the pie. The staff were very nice, friendly and helpful. When we arrived we received a welcome cake with champagne. The room was compact, but very comfortable. But the biggest surprise was waiting for us in the morning. 1 - it was a basket of breakfast at 5am, 2 - the owner itself took us to the airport by car. Thanks a lot, it was really very nice of you. In this world it is very valuable to stay human. Thanks
