All the staff was superlative. We especially appreciated the gracious and friendly table service of the breakfast staff. The location was perfect for walking the historic district (2 blocks to City Market, 1 bock to Gibbs Museum). Parking was available directly behind hotel just 10 feet from the back entrance - and access to the building from front and back required no stairs (!) - unusual in Charleston and a real plus for our group traveling with elderly. Charming open air courtyard and outdoor tables. The wine and cheese hour and sherry all evening were bonuses!

Amazing hotel located a block away from the market. The most comfortable beds and liners. The atmosphere is great! Beautiful patio to enjoy a breakfast or a drink. Great location and quiet. Near to lots of places we wanted to visit. Breakfast was good even though they have a nutty woman working there that kept shouting but funny to watch. Clean & comftable.
