We were near tram lines, restaurants and coffee shops. Use Trudi’s instructions; Google assumes pedestrians want to walk past interesting shops rather than getting there directly with luggage.

This oasis in the middle of Winterthur was completely delightful, beatiful property with historical significance and within walking distance from train and buses. Close to the historic Old Town of Winterthur. Our hosts were wonderful, lots of knowledge of the area and very willing to share their knowldge if requested. Breakfast was great, all organic, and lots of room to dine. Added bonus; we stayed here at the end of our trip and it was just a short train ride from Zurich Airport for our return flight.

Situated in Andelfingen, 32 km from Zurich Exhibition Hall, Bed and Breakfast Wegmann has a garden, private parking and rooms with free WiFi access. There is a private entrance at the bed and breakfast for the convenience of those who stay. Parking on-site is available and the bed and breakfast also features bike hire for guests who want to explore the surrounding area. Wegmann B&B is simple and home-like. For me it was the perfect location, near the train station and just up the road from my family. The host was kind and provided all the information I needed for an excellent stay. My room was clean and comfortable and the bed was perfect! I will always use Wegmann B&B for my family visits to Andelfingen. Thanks for a great visit and next time I hope to stay longer.

There is a shared kitchen at the property. The room was perfect with all the needed essentials including chocolate! The host was so friendly and met our every need. The breakfast they served there was the best we had in our entire week trip to Switzerland.

They immediately made me feel right at home, were very friendly, and extraordinarily helpful finding the best bicycle route between the bnb and the Rhine Falls. The bnb was very clean and the breakfast was ample. But most of all it was their friendliness that made this place special. I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed my stay there.

Boasting a garden and views of garden, B&B Bad Tiefenau, HAUS AN DER QUELLE is a bed and breakfast set in a historic building in Elgg, 34 km from Zurich Exhibition Hall. There is an in-house restaurant and free private parking. Staff on-site can arrange a shuttle service. What a beautiful stay it was. Unfortunately just for 1 night since it was a car road trip stop, but would love to come back one day! Very peaceful area, surrounded by nature and inside the house is just a package of warm and welcoming energy. The hosts were super nice! The bed was really comfortable and the breakfast was exceptional with freshly baked bread, local selection of cheese, farmers eggs and home made marmalade. Also my dog was very friendly welcomed. Thank you very much for everything, I wish I could return tomorrow:)
