The house has a quiet, warm magic to it - beautiful in design, perfectly kept, and instantly comforting. Port Aran House is ideally located: with easy access to the bars and shops, yet just tucked away enough to offer that rare, raw connection to the island's spirit and rhythm. My room had everything I needed, but the true highlight was the ocean view from my window. The breakfast buffet was a perfect ten - and it also became the stage for Kevin’s morning chats with guests, where he asked thoughtful questions, offered tailored recommendations, and shared stories about life on the island. All of the above and more is what makes this place not just accommodation, but a home - set in the paradise-like surroundings of Inis Mór. My intuition is never mistaken, and I have a strong feeling I’ll be coming back...

Set on Aran Islands 6-5 km from Kilronan port, Aran Walkers Lodge features a garden, a terrace and free WiFi. We offer a complete complimentary breakfast. The staff were all brilliant and very friendly especially Brenda. The place has a very homely feel about it. Located at the centre of the island so away from the hustle and bustle which we loved.
