Guesthouse Bitra B&B’s simple rooms have either private or shared bathroom facilities. They provide views of Mount Hekla or the surrounding countryside. We enjoyed being welcomed into this B&B. It felt very personal. Very service minded. I got a place to dry our towels. The guests all great each other. The breakfast was perfect. I had a 10 year old with me and he found all his favourites.

This guest house is non-smoking and soundproof. Great property, so new we could smell the fresh paint! Room was cozy and very well designed with a window seat looking out to the hills and the horses. Bright, spacious and comfortable common room and incredibly well equipped shared kitchen. Hopefully guests will take care of it all so that it stays so beautiful. Loved the location midway between Gulfoss Falls and Geysir, 5 minutes from both. Highly recommended.

All the facilities were clean and well maintained. Liked the art and the little interior objects. This place is someone's gem they cherish and maintain. The shared kitchen is very well equipped. Used it to prepare proper breakfast and did some meal prep for the road.

We were not able to reach the apartment as the road nb 1 was broken due to glacier flooding. road was cut for 3 days, something to keep in mind when traveling even if extremely unusual (1100km round trip to reach airport) BUT we give a 10 rating as the owners kindly refund us for the night which covers the costs of another place on the road

The host is very helpful and accommodating. The location was fantastic- central to all the attractions in the Golden Circle.
