We said we wanted to go early in the morning and she prepared breakfast early for us. Everything was perfect, I recommend it to everyone. If I go to the Bernina train again, I will stay here again. We had an amazing holiday here. We stayed in Caronela apartment and everything was really great: comfortable bed, beautiful view from all the rooms, including toilette, fully equipped kitchen. Laura and Silvano are the perfect hosts, they prepared each day a tasty breakfast with fresh eggs from their garden and other delicious food from Valtellina region. We also went hiking almost every day and we found some beautiful trails that start at 1h drive from Teglio, such as: Lago Vago, Lago Lagazzuolo or Ghiaccio Fellaria.

It is situated 38 km from Bormio 2000 Cable Car and offers a lift. The property is non-smoking and is set 34 km from Bernina Pass. Simona was a great host and easy to get a hold of. Safe area, several places for dinner in a very nice town, very close to the Bernina Express train station.

Above all, the hospitality of the owner, Walter, as well as the other staff was memorable. The building is new, the room and bathroom very high standard. Across the street is their restaurant, with excellent service for breakfast and every meal we had. Their own wines were absolute top quality. We thoroughly enjoyed walking in the vineyards and woods above the town, where there are many options for hiking. A tour of their modern cellar and to hear the history of the vineyard gave us much appreciation of the Menegola vineyard and wines. Many thanks.

The units are equipped with heating facilities. I traveled over 70 countries and never see such a good hospitality in Europe as at Dimora1934. Owner Paula and her husband both are so friendly and helping, I cant write in words. We felt very good like at own home. I really respect such people and try to come again this place in future.
