Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). Highlight of my trip, I wish we stayed 2 nights not just one. Great hospitality and wonderful facilities. Personally the futon was very comfortable since I prefer harder matress. A 15 minute walk from the ferry terminal, very close to the main attractions.

I found the bed comfortable and the whole quest house was very charming. The restaurant attached to the guest house was good and convenient, and the view of the garden from there was lovely. It is two minutes away from Mitaki-dera, which I found to be an underrated beautiful place, now one of my favorite temples I have visited.

So beautifully prepared and served. The hospitality is exceptional. We had bed warmers for the night and were sent on our way with hand warmers as the weather was cold.

ゲストハウス尾道ポポー Guesthouse Onomichi Pawpaw se află în Onomichi, la 12 minute de mers pe jos de Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine, și pune la dispoziție o grădină, o terasă și parcare privată. This is such a great place! If you want to experience authentic Japanese family living, I highly recommend staying here. The host family is absolutely lovely. Even though we didn’t speak the same language, you could really feel their warmth and hospitality.

Guest house kusunoki（women only） se află în Fukuyama, la 8,4 km de Shinsho-ji Temple, și pune la dispoziție WiFi gratuit și parcare privată gratuită. Guesthouse Kusunoki was wonderful. The guesthouse was quaint, artistic, and impeccably clean. The owner, Katsumori san, is kind and very detail-oriented, and you can tell that he puts his heart and soul into running this guesthouse. I loved my stay here, it was the highlight of my trip.

She helped us navigate rental of bikes, gave us good tips about our bike ride, and helped explain the local experience. The place was clean, spacious and had great location right on the beach. Waking up to the water view was amazing.

88 House Hiroshima se găsește în Hiroshima, la 5 km de Aeon Mall Hiroshima-Fuchu, și oferă o grădină, un lounge comun, o terasă și parcare privată gratuită. We had an excellent 3 night stay here! It's a beautiful big traditional Japanese house with the host living in a separate house next door. There are 3 rooms in the house so there is the potential to be sharing with other guests. Toilets, shower rooms and kitchen are shared. Our room was huge with futons, a table, and sliding doors that opened up to a view of the garden. It was lovely to be able to hear the river rushing by right beside the house, and cool to stay in a quiet little neighborhood. The #29 bus is very easy to catch to and from Hiroshima station and it runs super frequently, so it wasn't a problem being slightly out from the city centre. We had a very relaxed and peaceful stay here and would definitely come back again. Thank you to our wonderful and friendly host Kengo!
