Set in Tanabe and only 200 metres from Kumanokodo Nakahechi Museum of Art, 民宿 和合 Minshuku WAGO offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The host was very nice and helpful, and the place is just on the kumano kodo path. It was a great experience.

AJITO Hostel & CafeBar asub Shingus, kõigest 500 meetri kaugusel Shingu lossi varemetest. Kohapeal on tasuta jalgrattad, baar ja terve päeva valve. what a great little place. If you have a small group, the 4 ppl room on the 3rd floor is perfect. The place has lots of great info in multiple languages and the affiliated izakaya was the perfect place to go for dinner.

There is a charger, a lamp and a little fan for every bed. The quality of the accomodation/price ratio is very great. Takaji, the owner was fun and nice. We enjoyed our stay even if it was rainy. The beach, which is very close, is very fun and beautiful. There was a lot of people surfing there. Don’t hesitate to book, you will not regret it!

Set just 1.4 km from Shirarahama Beach, ゲストハウス三軒家 features accommodation in Shirahama with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. If you want to experience real Japanese hospitality, this is the place to go. The owners went out of their way helping us to get our daughter's phone back, which she had left on the train (driving to the station in the middle of the night and organizing the key to the train!). The hotel is very cozy and the coffee (home-roasted) is great. Thank you very much!

Set in Shingu in the Wakayama region, with Kamikura Shrine and Shingu Castle Ruins Park nearby, くまの蔵inn Warehouse offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. We were overwhelmed by the kindness Koji-san showed us! The warehouse is a beautiful little apartment and we would have loved to stay even longer.

Kahetärniline Guest House Suzumeno Kakurembo asub Koyasanis, 37 km kaugusel Kishi jaamast ja 44 km kaugusel Matsushita pargist. Warmth, kind and wonderful and cozy stay in Suzumeno Kakurembo. My regards to thw owners, wonderful people who help me with everything, feels just like home.

Aia ja konditsioneeriga tubadega Kumano Kodo Nagano Guesthouse asub Tanabes, 23 km kaugusel Shirahama kuumaveeallikast. Külalistele pakutakse concierge-teenust. The host was very friendly. He shared homemade plum wine with us, which was super delicious, and he also provided us with some oranges. He also gave us route guidance and shared the bus schedule with us. What I liked most was that the host picked us up from Tanabe Station and sent us from the homestay to Takijiri the next day, so we saved the bus fare.

Koyasan Guest House Tommy asub Koyasanis, Tama muuseumist ja Kishi jaamast 38 km kaugusel. Tubades on konditsioneer ja privaatne vannituba. Kohapeal on pakihoid, jalgrattaparkla ja tasuta... The location is amazing. Could walk just about everywhere in under 20 minutes. Bus stop is a minute away. The owner couple is very helpful. Gave me recommendations to visit places and timings, no curfew. I was able to enjoy Danjo Garan, Daimon gate in a brilliant night view. Walking the streets at night without any rush to head back was priceless. Okunoin is pure peace at night. I loved the peaceful energy and silent, happy vibes of the guesthouse itself. They made an amazing breakfast considering I am a vegetarian. Felt like home. I'd definitely book again whenever I am back in Koyasan.
