Great stay! The way the rooms were set up is great for a couples retreat. Nice size tub that both can soak in. Room was clean. Breakfast was amazing and staff did small touches like bringing us cookies. It was within walking distance of down town (although it involves some hills). Only complaint I can make was the size of the fridge was a bit to small to keep all our drinks cold.

First of all, Mark is by far the most caring and intentional host my wife and I have had the pleasure of doing business with. As far as the property; it's like out of a movie. My wife described the room as being like her Hallmark movies. The whole establishment felt like home and we would definitely recommend a stay here as we will be back.

The deck was so nice to have to relax and drink a cup of coffee on in the AM and a glass of wine at night.

The Sugar Creek Retreat is located in Garfield. The property has barbecue facilities, as well as a garden. Both free WiFi and private parking are accessible at this property. Loved the rustic natural surroundings and setting. Free drinks and snacks. Delicious pastries, fruit and yoghurt for breakfast eve though no resturant. Very comfortable bed. Microwave and fridge very useful in room.
