Offering quiet street views, casa maria is an accommodation set in La Romana, 8.1 km from Teeth of the Dog and 12 km from Dye Fore. The customer service and the cleanliness of the place was excellent. She even woke up early because she knew I had to leave early for a business meeting - so when I wake up the breakfast was already ready and it was so delicious - she made me feel like home. I will definitely return for business trip or tourism.

Set in San Felipe de Puerto Plata and only 1.3 km from Long Beach, Gaia Residence Deluxe offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The hotel was really modern and well decorated, everything was clean and well maintained. It was in a really good location within a gated community, Costa Rica beach is just a 6 minute drive away, the cable cars to Isabel de torres are 15 minutes drive away, and 10 minutes to the fort. There are plenty of places to eat close by (I highly recommend Como en Famillia for authentic Dominican food but it’s only open until 3) and jumbo is a 2 minute drive away but easily within walking distance. Our hosts were fantastic and super friendly, all the staff and owners of the hotel went above and beyond, and really made our stay relaxing, and as if we had known them for years. The breakfast is amazing and more than you could want, there is fresh fruit, cake and a good variety of choice for your main selection (Dominican breakfast, omelette, etc) The hotel is in a quiet location so gives you plenty of opportunity to relax and unwind. I would not hesitate to come and stay here again, it was just perfect!

Offering a garden and sea view, Turquoise B&B is located in Willemstad, 1.7 km from Playa Marichi and 1.2 km from Queen Emma Bridge. Sidney is one of the greatest host you will ever encounter. He would go above and beyond to help you in any way possible. Breakfast is very good and he'll bring out to you every morning. Everything is clean and organize. The main room in the second floor is quite ample and has an outside-bedroom private bathroom, which has everything you need. There's also a full equipped kitchen and a large fridge with a freezer. You can also park your car in front of the house. It's a 10 min walk from Puna (downtown) and Queen Emma Bridge, which is really convenient to explore Willemstad. There are 2 grocery stores nearby, so that you can purchase essentially anything you need. Furthermore, there's also a bus terminal nearby where the market is, which makes transportation easy even if you don't have a car. However, please do your research on how the ABC Bus system works.

Featuring an outdoor swimming pool and views of sea, De Octopus is a recently renovated bed and breakfast located in Sint Michiel, 1.9 km from Blue Bay Beach. The garden, the outdoor shower, very friendly hosts, the 4 dogs (Pai was a sweetheart and our favorite), there is a nice beach just down the street. We wished we would have spent our entire vacation here. Very relaxing location. I would recommend getting a rental car to go to restaurants and explore the island. We absolutely loved our stay at De Octopus.

Set in Lucea in the Hanover region, Blue Paloma Bed & Breakfast has a patio. This bed and breakfast features a pool with a view, a garden and free private parking. Theg property is very well thought through , given a very local touch and is very well maintained. Andrea, who is the owner has done a fabulous job with both interior and exteriors. the property is very clean, spacious and welcoming. we enjoyed the stay as the B&B host were very welcoming and made us feel at home. If one is looking for a real feel of Jamica , one needs to look at staying at places such as Blue Paloma. the breakfast is local Jamaican breakfast that is freshly made by the cool very morning with nice fresh juices. The team is very well organized , friendly , accommodative and warm. Our dietary restrictions were noted and food was customized to it. The swimming pool hours were extended for us. we were offered fresh coconut water and also the seasonal drinks. The host had family visiting for the holidays and the family members were very welcoming and we felt like we were part of the family during our stay. Overall, this is a fabulous place and I look forward to staying here again on my next visit. thanks to Andrea, Mark and the whole team for making our stay so enjoyable.

Featuring city views, Junzi is located in Ceiba, around 37 km from El Yunque Rainforest. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. Ali was just the sweetest guy, and so helpful. He met in the door, helped me with luggage and prehand sent information and activities in the area. He was also very helpful getting me to the ferry 5am. He made the stay very easy. The place is very simple, but still nice. A bit different then what I have seen before. It's a perfect stay if toy are going to Culebra or/and vieques and you need a place to stay for the night. The bed was very comfy!
