The traditional houseboats, called "kettuvallams" have wood harvested from local jackfruit tree plantations, hand-stitched by local craftsmen with coconut fiber rope. The houseboat was amazing and and it was a pleasant and wonderful journey. We had the trip of our life with Xandari. The captain Sony, Chief cook Sanjith and kannan make us feel like kings. We bought shrimps on the way, enjoyed a shirodhara massage and had a very relaxing peaceful trip. We will come back. 10 stars for the food! It was the best food we had. Leave your phone in you bag!
