Fabulous picturesque location. We wanted a rustic snug little farmhouse with a nice fire to enjoy good food and wine in front of, thats exactly what we got.

Clare & Justin were so accommodating. This is one of the best-kept gems of the Kettering/Nichols Rivulet area. Tucked away and isolated from neighbouring properties. It has tranquil peace and quiet and is super warm & snug. You could live here for extended periods, in a heartbeat! Could not recommendation highly enough. The access to Bruny Ferry is easy (with a vehicle) and has some of Tasmania's best rural landscapes just moments away. Check out Ye Olde Oyster Cove (fresh produce store) on the drive-in to get your fresh food supplies.

super comfortable with lots of amenities. its was quiet and very private. you have access to nature and golf too. at your doorstep. there is a large porch swing with heater and blankets. forest was lit at night. wallabies on the prowl. creek runs through property. didnt see a platypus but i am sure there are one or two. close enough to huonville if need supplies. there are some goodie in cabinets for you. i made hot chocolate. i did not see hot plate but there is air fryer. i travel extensively and rarely write reviews but i think this one deserved my time. cheers.

Beautiful location only 1km from Kettering so peaceful and was so well equipped including washing machine

Breakfast was delicious with provisions provided more than enough for the time we were there and included cereals, fresh eggs from the chickens, the biggest and tastiest mushrooms and best sourdough bread.

Lavender Cove is a beautiful house, very well presented and really comfortable. Everything you need is there, all you need is your food! The owner was very friendly and went out of her way for us to make us feel welcome and as comfortable as possible. Will definitely return Highly recommended, you won't be disappointed
