Beautiful, spectacular view of the bay, mountains and sea. You do need a car if you plan on visiting nearby towns or beaches. The facility is well designed with quality furnishings.

My five year old daughter put it best when she said Lena is a superstar. She was an amazing hostess providing wonderful breakfasts, great tour recommendations, and also booked a boat tour for us. The space was plenty big enough for our family of four and the balcony was a fun spot to relax in. The views of the sea and the Mata Atlantica were also quite nice.

David and Peggy made this place as heaven ! The chalet are amazing and really well decorated with a lot of taste. They made everything by themselves and they made it perfectly ! The breakfast made by Peggy was simply AMAZING. They take care of the nature and of the place every single day. They treated us as we were family ! If I could put 100 as a rank I would ! Casa Mar Paraty is one of the most special places on earth. Gustavo and his team, including Gabriel, went above and beyond to make this vacation incredibly special for my family. Leading up to our stay, they were communicative, answering the several questions we had, and even helped me plan a surprise birthday celebration for my partner. The care that went into the birthday celebration exceeded my wildest expectations. It was the most special day. Although we were only there for two nights, we felt as though we were saying goodbye to our new home and new family on the day we left. The views are absolutely stunning, the design and architecture very tastefully done, and the activities nearby made for an absolutely wonderful trip. This is a place you go for pure tranquility. All you can hear are birds and waves. Words can't describe how special this place is. I will absolutely be back!

Gorgeous house and view. We could sit on that balcony for weeks. Comfortable bedrooms. Wonderful small beach close by (Prainha). Paraty was such a great place to visit with beauty, history, and fun. Good recommendations by the host. Look forward to coming back.

Very charming hotel boutique.Perched on a hill outside the town of Paraty, with a private beach, infinity pool and a breathtaking view of the ocean.Each room has a different décor, mine was on the second floor with a balcon , ideal for a sunrise lover like myself.Others surrounded by the beautiful Mata Atlântica…The staff is very nice and helpful , a special mention to Raquel , we had a wonderful time.Thank you Casa Luz for a memorable Christmas!🎄🎅
