It was good to take my 80 year-old father back to his place of origin. It was equally good that I found a place that was clean and very comfortable for elderly persons and my teenage son. A good place for short or lengthy stays and you get the full experience of still living the island life at this location. The host was just the best!, pleasant and attentive to our needs. We will certainly be returning and I have already given two referrals.

Let me spend few words to explain our experience in Exuma at Sandy Bottom Cottages. Rowena, the host, is the nicest person on the Earth, she picked us up at the airport and took us to the cottage that is clean and perfumed. We rented the car with her and our experience has been great!! Beaches in Exuma are fantastic and you can relax and enjoy without crowds of people. By car you can reach every amazing place on the Island. If I only knew it would have been so good staying there I would have spent more days in Exuma at Sandy Bottom Cottages and less in Nassau.
