Excellent communication and beautiful accommodation. The owner is incredibly caring, and we managed to communicate in English since I don’t speak Spanish. I’m so grateful for that. Everything was absolutely perfect. Whatever we needed, we received. We were even able to do our laundry and hang it out to dry, which was amazing. We ended up extending our stay because the environment was so stunning. Surrounded by parrots, hummingbirds in the garden, and even toucans that you could see or hear—such a magical place! The people were friendly, and everything was just wonderful. On our last day, we had a flat tire, and her son kindly helped me replace it. There aren’t many people like that in the world. I’m already looking forward to coming back next year! :)

We have booked two rooms, so we ended having whole house with kitchen and a terrace for us. Carlos can also pick you from the port at Puerto Jimenez as the lodge is located just few steps away for the Tiger trail. It's so close to Corcovado NP that sometimes you just don't to go to the park, as the animals come to your porch!

The price/performance ratio is great, which is why we gave it a high rating. The place is quite basic—no extravagance. The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped, with a big fridge and a huuuuuge table/living room area. The kitchen/living room/table were so large that at first, we thought they might be shared with other guests. While the shower seemed a bit improvised at first glance, it worked well and had hot water. Overall, if you're planning to sleep there for just a few days, have a few snacks in the kitchen, and spend most of your time on tours, it’s a great deal.
