Great to have a yummy little restaurant just a few steps away. (The grilled lamb was delicious!) We got in late and had our dog with us, who wasn't allowed into the restaurant, but they delivered right to our door! Morning soundscape: birds chirping, cowbells ringing, horses whinnying. :)

This stop in our tour of France and Spain by car, was the best. We stayed in a refurbished stone apartment overlooking a mountain stream that we heard all day and night. Luis and Lourdes treated us like old friends instead of rental guest. Luis even helped me with the proper pronunciation of "Camprodon", along with brief history. This place provided us in our frantic travels a spot of relief, a place of comfort and recovery. If we ever decide to relocate to Europe this place is it, only if they would have us. Again, thank you.

Imagine all the things you might want from an apartment in the snowy mountains and this apartment delivers. It is absolutely stunning inside (carefully renovated by the owners who are local to the area to feel like an alpine ski chalet) and the floor to ceiling full wall of window leading to the little terrace looks over the whole valley (probably the best view from property in the surrounding area!) It is cleverly split over three mezzanine floors - fully equipped kitchen as you come in, then up a few stairs to the stunning living room/diner/VIEW, then up to the bed and bathroom. There is also a shared grassy garden with surrounding fence that was perfect to run our dog around safely. Parking is free in public car park just over the road. The hosts had made every attempt to welcome us with little extras - logs for the first night with the fire (you can buy more from the nearest town Llanars) and a bottle of wine. They also know the area inside out and will whatsapp you a list of their favourite walks. Wifi is fast enough for work calls and the TV is huge. The location is right in the middle of LOTS of walks and other activities. There area hours of walks straight from the apartment but also only 5mins drive north and you reach waterfalls and other pretty towns. A fave of ours was a circular mountain, waterfall, river walk leaving from Carrer de la Font in Setcases (2hrs). 15mins south and you can join the Vía Verda del Ferro i del Carbó (an old mine train route that is now a pedestrianised/cycle path that runs for 18km through lots of the pretty surrounding towns and countryside.

Le logement était vraiment comme sur les photos , propre et très bien équipé . Le village est calme, typique. Tout était parfait, nous reviendrons rapidement.

The location of the property at La Roca is fantastic! You have views across the hills from the lounge that are a dream to wake up to. The house has everything you could possibly need and is incredibly clean and well kept. Great combinación of traditional feel with tasteful modern touches. Jaume welcomed us to hand over the keys and show us around and was a pleasure to meet. Thank you!
