Everything was perfect. Onni village is lakeside utopia in the Finnish forest. Cottage was clean, quiet, spacious, well stocked with necessities, great kitchen, washer/dryer, big sauna. Bonus- rowboats and cruiser bikes to use anytime. Lake Seimaa and surroundings was beautiful and peaceful beyond words. It's a bit far and isolated, but that's the point. (Just have everything you need for you stay). The host (Aleks) was there during our stay but no need to bother him...everything was provided and working perfectly- thank you for a wonderful and memorable stay!

Matikkala cottage was everything we hoped for. Cozy, fully equipped and owner, who was quick to solve any issues. A great stay on a quiet island near Ruokolahti! Good for families.

The house is just perfect for anyone looking for complete rest. You do not see anyone around, just nature in its pure. Wonderful terrace with a view, and Sauna for relaxation. There is plenty of berries and mushrooms around in summer. We also found european long-distance walking path nr 10 nearby. Overall - best holiday in years!

the house is very well equipped, there is everything you need. Sauna as a plus. absolutely stunning nature around. Alexey was very helpful and reactive, we had a boat and spend a wonderful time exploring a lake and forest. Thanks a lot for our holidays, we are definitely will be back!

Our family loved it, the location and the house itself was perfect. We had a little storm that did not bother us as the house was so warm and lovely. Sauna was good too.

The location is amazing - remote place right next to lake. Great views. The house was inside the forest 50 meters from lakeshore. The house was large, with fireplace. We booked the house with separate sauna building and hot tube - excellent for good calm days. If we would not have the issue with payments + cleanness would be a bit better, then it would be a 10 review.
