Really lovely quiet site. I was upgraded to the wooden caravan as there were very few people booked in. I enjoyed how peaceful it was. The campsite bar and veranda really made the place.

The host was really welcoming and the rooms perfect for a family of five as 2 rooms very spacious were connecting. The beds were super comfortable. It was also clean which is never easy for old houses. Perfect restaurant a couple of km away (la gouillette) for dinner. the continental breakfast at the property had everything you wish for and the host also thought to adapt it for the kids with variety of cereals.

What I like the most is that you're kind of isolated from large urban areas in a huge house which is what we were looking for. We went on winter time so we used the fireplace a lot which gives a warm, cozy atmosphere to the house. There's a large yard where we could park two cars. Supermarkets and gas stations are around 10 minutes away by car.

Great location for visiting local towns (great wine and cheese) and some great walks around the Doubs / Jura area. The hosts were so friendly although we struggled with my three words of schoolboy French they were always patient and very helpful. The extra touches like presenting us with flowers and chocolate for Easter were greatly appreciated. We would definitely return again
