It was an amazing place and a beautiful building inside and out. The location was great with Mont Saint Michel just 40 minutes away by car. The hosts were very kind and happy to make a lot of recommendations throughout Normandy. Upon arrival, they also made nearby restuarant recommendations, we went to the closest one called Le Table, and the food was delicious and affordable considering the high quality.

the owners met us and despite the language barrier were able to communicate with us through google translate-they were super helpful and friendly the facilities were high tech with automatic lighting and sensors in the bathroom sinks next door we had the use of a private spa including hot and dry sauna , jacuzzi and swimming pool as well as a Zen garden for relaxing-only missing a few bonsai plants 40 minute drive to Mont Saint Michelle

The house itself is furnished rather simply, but then you do get to use the relaxation room including pool, jacuzzi, sauna and hammam for 2 hours each day AND there is a big garden with trampoline and table tennis. What more could a person ask for really? To add, the hosts are very kind, the facilities clean and a very good restaurant (La Table du Scion) is just down the road. We hope to return here one day!

Handy for visiting Fougeres and its castle. Only noticed the nearby lake when we were leaving. Did not try the Pizza shop 100 metres away but it must be good as there was always a queue.

I loved that it was a quiet and lovely location in a small town in the countryside. The hostess was very friendly and helped us by giving us tips on where to go and visit. Where to eat. She also prepared a simple but very good and fresh breakfast for us. The rooms were comfortable and cosy. It was a very great stay. It’s also quite close to a lot of activities and sights. I’d love to go again.
