Hospitality: a very warm welcome and very helpfull! Everything was very clean and well taken care off. The location was also very nice, beautiful big, green garden. We were able to bbq at night and the pool was great.

Beautiful property, it was like a retreat! The area is so peaceful with lots of surrounding nature. The room and bathroom at Moulin de la Bourgade were clean and cozy. The espresso machine was such a nice touch. And the hosts, Pierre and Marianne were so sweet, welcoming, and gave us wonderful recommendations. The breakfast was wonderful too!

What an amazing stay! The apartment was beautiful, the grounds were amazing and the hosts were so friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay amazing! They made us breakfast in the morning for an additional €10 which was definitely worth it. It’s so picturesque! Will definitely be back and definitely recommend!

I highly recommend a stay in this truly exceptional French country house. The welcoming hosts greeted us with a bottle of wine and provided excellent restaurant recommendations. The house was extremely well equipped for a comfortable stay, with copious cookware and beautiful serving dishes. The property provided an excellent base for touring the region (Bordeaux, Arcachon beaches, St. Emilion vineyards, prehistoric caves in Dordogne, and Cognac). The property's front and back gardens are very charming, with the back offering fantastic views of the Dordogne River with its mesmerizing tides. The village has a wonderful restaurant, supermarket, and first rate bakery all within walking distance.

Our stay was exceptional! Caroline was amazing from the start and was incredibly helpful and welcomed us to the house and the area. The house had recently been renovated to an incredibly high standard. The whole house was super clean and there was so much space. Everything we needed was there! the swimming pool is amazing and we spent a lot of time there. There was nothing more we needed. it was great to learn about Caroline’s dream and renovation journey and we can’t wait to come back and see more. An incredible, super fun holiday. Thank you!
