Charming little place in a nice, quiet, rural setting, less than a 10 minute drive from Bayeux. Had a lovely rustic feel. Had the essentials for a short stay. Comfy sofa and bed, good parking. Efficient communication with the owner and keys were conveniently in a lockbox on arrival.

We were a group of eight men visiting the Normandy area. Excellent kitchen, had everything we needed, rooms were clean and spacious, lovely peaceful rural location. Great value for money.

The house is in the middle of a beautiful ranch, situated 10 min from Bayoux and 20 min from Caen. the place newly renovated opened only 3.23. The bed was very comfortable. The owner’s were very friendly and breakfast was great.

Great stay at this house. Perfect for a family stay. Comfortable. Ideally location just outside Bayeux with easy access to main sites of Normandy. We visited Mont St-Michel, D-Day beaches and Bayeux as we only spent 3 days there. I like the separate utility room for washing and drying clothes which was very useful. And thank you to Claudia for her hospitality. Highly recommended.

This place was truly exceptional. When we drove up, it felt like something out of a fairy tale - the estate, the grounds, the gardens, the (very well behaved) 4 footed greeting party. The winding forest path you drive down to reach the main house is carpeted with these delicate pink violets. It was amazing. Our room was HUGE. It looked out over the gorgeous back of the property and to the farmers fields beyond. The bed and linens were very comfortable and the bathroom was large, recently remodeled and very modern. The style of the whole place had a beautiful, comfortable curated feel about it. The whole house felt filled with light. The breakfast could be taken in the dining room or outside on the huge terrace. The European style breakfast was plentiful - with several different kinds of bread and pastries and multiple types of jams/marmalades. The coffee was really good. The hosts, Laurent and Christine could not have possibly been more hospitable. For us, they were the very best part of our stay. Charming and friendly, they made us feel very welcome and we cannot wait to come back. This place was a GREAT value for our money.

It's a beautiful and very peaceful location. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming and greeted us with a bottle of local cider! . Nothing was too much trouble and we were offered the use of bicycles to explore the local area. The gite was amazing. Exceptionally clean and well equipped with immediate access to the beautiful garden and a patio. Will definitely return again in the future. Highly recommended.
