The gite was huge (for two people), but that just made it all the more comfortable for us. Good facilities, kitchen was ideal, lounge and dining room very comfortable. The owner of the gite gave us some useful tips for places to visit.

The location was ideal, very close to the river .Christian the owner was a great host, he did not interfere with our holiday ,but was always available if we had any questions. Would advise anyone that wants a nice quiet holiday to book la Madeleine.

This property is an absolute fairy tale! Coral has put so much work into creating a magical place, both the inside and outside have been fully thought out. She is knowable about the area and very helpful for booking. Her meals are out of this world and her dedication sustainability, local and home grown ingredients are such a joy. Will definitely be returning for a longer stay.
