We had a comfortable bedroom and a beautiful bathroom. French doors led into our own living room. The decor was stunningly beautiful and relaxing. Breakfasts were exceptional. Served in our own living room by our kind and friendly host and exactly when we asked for it to be served. Parking was on the street and we were given a parking disc for the day. Directions given for walking into Lille - which was easy or a very short tram ride. Local neighbourhood was good for evening dinner.

Excellent three nights at the house. Good comms from the host, no issues with keys or anything. Very stylish place, polished concrete floor, spotlessly clean, well equipped small kitchen;superb shower; great little terrace out from the bedroom. Ample off-road free parking just in front of the house. Quiet neighbourhood but only a short walk to mini-supermarkets, bakers etc. Superb evening meal at L'Epicure very close by in La Madelaine. Around a brisk 15 minute walk into the start of the old town at Rue de Gand packed out with bars and restaurants. Very highly recommended.
