lovely clean updated property with all facilities in rural village position. Catherine and Yves were excellent hosts with English spoken. Wonderful home made food eaten on a lovely terrace with stunning views. A few kilometres from the interesting small mediaeval town of Beaujeu.

The host of Le Colombier d'Amalthée is just great! Everything worked fine, the view from the terrasse is terrific! I can highly recommend it! It is not too far from Lyon - one of the best places to eat in the world, very quiet, the goats on the farm are just gorgeous. I had a wonderful time!

I chose this gite because it is all on the ground floor - no stairs - which was very good for my elderly mum. The nice bedrooms and the number of beds was also very convenient for our party. Furthermore, it is not too far from the places we wanted to visit.
