Who needs TV and internet when you have such charming accommodation and a stack of old vinyls and board games - not to mention the cutest donkey and sheep to pet? (Julie and Angèle - totally inseparable!). Seriously though, we loved everything about La Garçonnière. We were warmly greeted by Annabelle on arrival and afterwards were left to our own devices with no intrusions. We were suprised at how spacious yet cosy the room is - the pictures don't do it justice! The property is in a gorgeous, tranquil location, the kitchen and bathroom were very well equipped with everything we needed (shower small but excellent), and the bed was by far the comfiest I've ever slept in! We had several barbecues on the shady terrace overlooking the pond, but there are also a number of little restaurants in nearby La Roche-Bernard. It was with a very heavy heart that we left the peace and quite of Nivillac to go back to our busy lives!
