Highlights include the massive, super comfy bed, decor & cleanliness, lovely courtyard setting of the apartment & gorgeous garden but most of all our welcoming host and the amazing breakfast (homemade yoghurt and juice, lovely pastries) in the beautiful main house. If you close your eyes and imagine France, it's this!

We had a great stay in this lovely secluded property. The views over the fields behind were exceptional. There is everything you need in the cabin including towels, bedding and cutlery. It is situated on the Belgian border so we drove a few minutes to the nearby Belgian town of Watou where there was a good selection of bars and restaurants. There is ample outdoor space for lounging and eating. The private hot tub is a big bonus. We will definitely return.

The location of Au Petit Jardin was excellent, plenty of road side parking and only a 30 minute car journey from Dunkerque. It was less than a 10 minute walk to the centre of Cassel with many restaurants, bar and a very nice park. The house was well equipped, warm and comfortable with some very pretty outdoor space that we were unable to use due to the weather. The host, Annick, was very helpful and understanding when we had a delay on our estimated arrival time, she also provided some very delicious cakes, thank you Annick. We very much enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning soon to explore more of the local area.

Nice cozy interieur, high quality finishing, fun details that refer to the original use of the location. Loved the photo album that showcases the hard work put into this place to conserve and transform the place into its current state. All the necessary appliances are there to prepare a decent breakfast. Would love to come back.

This little house, a converted estaminet, was perfect for us. We were 2 adults and 2 teenage children and it felt like there was plenty of space even with only one shared space. The house was well furnished, modern and clean, styled how we would like, really charming. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and the welcome gift of local products was lovely, as was the coffee that was left for us. The beds were very comfortable, shower very good and we spent a nice time based here. The owners were very friendly and easy to communicate with. The location is fantastic, just off the main square, overlooking the church and memorial. Even though so close to the centre, it was quite quiet and not disturbed at all, whilst still having everything just off the doorstep. Although a popular little town, there was plenty of free parking available in the street/parking area just outside the house whenever we needed it. The town square was filled with lots of bars and restaurants, and there's a lovely bakery ABDress just around the corner from the house for getting bread or breakfast pastries. The town felt very safe for the teens to go out on their own to explore. We would really like to return as it was so relaxing.

Excellent location in the centre of Cassel just a 2 minute walk from the Grand Place and near to a very good boulangerie. The property has been renovated with the work done to a good standard. There is a free car park close to the property.

Amazing gite to spend a lovely long weekend. Very well equipped, great location, quiet, amazing view of the church. We had an amazing time, looking forward to returning.
