A very traditional French gite in the heart of the countryside. We were there in temperatures of 40degrees with government warnings to not go out between the hours of 12and 4pm. However the thick strong old French stone walls and wooden shutters ensured a comfortable ambient temperature within the gite, so that no fan or air con was necessary. Remarkable.

It definitely exceeded our expectations. Everything you need to stay for a longer period is available in the room, the hosts were very friendly and helpful. The view you get in the morning when you open up the windows is just superb. Outside there are multiple spots to relax and wind down.

only stayed a night on a bikepacking trip but it was perfect: Small room that had everything necessary and a modern bathroom. Safe storage for my bicycle. Breakfast for extra charge was delicious. And if you need to eat dinner, highly recommend La Stazione restaurant in Die nearby. couldn’t use the terrace or pool as it’s still way too cold but I guess in summer it’s even nicer!

It’s very small and compact. The sleeping area is tight, with bunk beds which, while we managed, are not ideal for older people.A sofa in the living area would convert to a double bed. Kitchen area well equipped. Lovely shower room. It’s comfortable for two, but I would imagine that more than that would be a tight squeeze. We love it here. Our 2nd visit. The location, although difficult to find, is fantastic. Just outside Die, rural and quiet. Laurent the host is very nice.
