It is a beautiful domain, with a separate indoor/outdoor dining area overlooking the valley and sea beyond. Terrific host, very accommodating, beautiful rugged landscaping in a private area of the valley, donkeys and wildlife abound. So fun to feel like part of the community. Delicious varied dinner and breakfast, good wine. Very cozy, lux, and super clean. The rooms were spotless, well-appointed, and very comfortable. Do not forget to enter by way of the gate you access from the lower church parking lot. Google GPS took us to an alternate footpath entrance through a tiny portal in the old towne village, almost got the car stuck and the owner rescued us. We stayed 7 separate accommodations around the island, while Santini was not the most expensive, it was certainly the most memorable. Stay here you won't be disappointed.

We liked everything, lost for words how special this location in the mountains was. The views, the facilities, personal check-in, on site restaurant.... An absolute highlight of our honeymoon, endless good memories. Its well located for the airport too, just prepare yourself for the drive into the mountains, which if you're exploring Corsica properly you will be! You will be hard pressed to find a nicer view from a pool or your window! The hot tub was wonderful. Just all beautiful

The holiday house is easy to find. It is situated along one of the main roads into the Castagniccia, which makes this place a good spot for discovering the Castagniccia, at least if you are prepared to drive; also the sea is not far away. At the same time, the house is located some distance away from the road so it is pretty quiet; all you hear is the murmuring Fium' Alto river. The house is pretty basic but offers all you need. It was comfortable enough for 2, but the kitchen could feel a bit crowded for 6 (maximum capacity). An interesting benefit that there is a good restaurant situated right across the street. The house originally belonged to the remains of the former factory building that is situated next to it; there is a lot of history associated with the place - there is actually a book about it.

Great stay in a great house with 3 floors (each with air conditioning) and 3 possibilities to sit outside. Wonderful view from the balcony!
