I was visiting the area for a couple of days. The location was perfectly located for me visiting my son who is living in the area. The location is quiet, alongside a river with lovely walks. The staff/owners are all very friendly and welcoming. The room was large, clean and well appointed. The breakfast was really excellent and dinner (had on the first evening) was also very good and good value. I made use of the 'spa' facilities on the first day, both the hot tub and sauna (still too early in the season for the swimming pool to be open), which helped make for a really relaxing stay here. There is a railway line behind the property, but over the two days I stayed here I only saw two goods trains, and they certainly did not disturb the overall peace and tranquillity of the location. Worth noting that phone signal is patchy but wifi is good at the property. Highly recommended and will return.

A beautiful little house, so very comfy, spotlessly clean and welcoming. Extremely friendly and professional owners, we were made to feel at home. Beautiful, peaceful location with easy access to local walks and places to visit. The garden is an idyllic place for afternoon tea. We had a lovely time in this accommodation. Would highly recommend.
