charming gite, which combines old world character and modern comforts. The location is quiet and private, yet just a short drive from Eymet and shops. The cottage has terraces both front and back and so you can choose sun or shade throughout the day. The kitchen is very well equipped, with every appliance you can imagine, as well as “must have” for British guests - a kettle. The cottage is tastefully furnished and very comfortable, so you can chill on the sofa after a hot day. The garden has a nice pool, and if you are brave enough to get past the initial shock of the cold, is delightful. The views from the back garden (which is huge), are exceptional. The garden is securely fenced, all around and so was perfect for our dog. The hosts are charming and always available if needed, though very discreet and gave us total privacy. The welcome basket was really lovely and way better than the usual bottle of wine (though did include a very nice wine). The seasonal vegetables were greatly appreciated and we made a delicious ratatouille. All in all, a gem of a place, for those who enjoy peace, tranquility and comfort.

We had a great time at Les Couroux. Quiet location, friendly host and hostess and a gîte that was beautifully decorated and 100% perfect in terms of hygiene.

From the minute we arrived my fiancé and I were greeted with open arms. The hosts are a lovely couple who made us feel at home and even prepared a hamper of wine and cheese for us on arrival. Hugely spacious, lovely location. We visited for a wedding but we will 100% be back soon! If you’re looking at a place to day look no further. You will fall in love with the chateau!

Nice small cabin and veranda. We stayed for 3 days and enjoyed especially the rainy day sitting outside under the roof. We arrived on a Wednesday, which apparently is pizza day. We were invited to bring our toppings and the hosts made the pizza dough. The pizza's were baked in a woodfired stone-oven. Delicious! As true Finnish socially awkward tourists, we did not mingle well, but we enjoyed it anyway :) . The chalets are on the Chemin de Saint-Jacques and we walked a bit on that trail and also on the Chemin d'Amadour, which brings you to Rocamadour if you would like. It's a really nice place to just take it slow for a while.
