So French and the gardens were stunning. like a national trust! the pool was new and very nice. breakfast was a great continental spread. the beds were comfy and it was quiet. the lake was beautiful and the owners were friendly with good English. nearby Vierzon was 15 minute drive and had a lovely canal with restaurants and shops.

We stayed at this hotel, and we really enjoyed it. On Booking.com it didn't make it clear that the hotel does breakfast, lunch and dinner, and there is also a bar which has live music sometimes. The hotel itself is a huge complex, a 'grand old lady' with sweeping staircases and ornate facades. The staff were friendly and tried to accommodate our (sometimes demanding) requests! There is an indoor pool, and a petting farm with donkeys and other animals. The location is on the outskirts of a village which is very sleepy. So if you are looking for somewhere off the beaten track to completely unwind, and just enjoy the peace and quite on a budget this is the place for you.

Beautiful well equipped apartment in a lovely setting and only 5 minutes walk to a very friendly town. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely try and return in the future.

nice hotel and nice and friendly staff. We used it as intermediate hotel to get to our final destination. There was only one choice in menu (which was very good and well prepared), but they adapted it a bit for one of my children who did not like the original one.
