This is a very cosy easy to live in country cottage. As our family are in Ilkley (we now live in Cyprus) this was the absolute perfect location for them to visit easily and conveniently. We didnt hire a car but the taxi services are excellent. Skipton has a lot to offer and is £9 one way door to door. You also have Ilkley -a similar cost and with both having excellent rail networks. We have already re-booked. Loved the ease of entry through the keypad front door-excellent system that.

The barn had such a warm, welcoming feel. As soon as we opened the front door and saw the open plan kitchen, dining area, and lounge, including a log burner, we were like 'wow'! Upstairs didn't disappoint either, lovely sized rooms, comfortable beds, the bathroom was spotless and the shower was hot and powerful. The welcome basket, along with milk and orange juice in the fridge, was a lovely touch.

Our stay here was absolutely fantastic. It was really easy get in touch with the host who was lovely. The whole place was clean and well thought out. The little details were also on point and made it extra special. We stayed with a young baby and could fit the travel cot in the master bedroom without any issue and having the lounge area made the whole experience so easy. My dad is usually up by 5 or 6 am and he even slept in until 9 so the spare room must be comfy too! Good location to the rest of the area, and seems very safe. Couldn't ask for anything more.

The place is so peaceful and quiet, just what we wanted. Great walks right from the accommodation without having to drive anywhere. The brownie barn next door was a real treat and a definite bonus, with great staff, the food and drinks where great to have on your doorstep and the brownies are fabulous.
