Highly recommend. Stuart and Caroline's space was perfect - nothing lacking, down to the delicious welcome scones. Modern space, comfortable bed, great shower, kitchen for self catering, lovely lounge area. Caroline, Stuart and the gorgeous four legged Betty were very welcoming. The village is delightful and there's an excellent eating establishment 'The Lime Tree' few minutes walk away. Couldn't fault this lovely annex - best bnb we've stayed in yet.

Beautiful house and tastefully decorated. Bedrooms were comfortable for good night's sleep. Great location, within the farmlands and not far from the city. We loved the winter serenity, especially in the morning when you looked out of the living room windows and it was a bonus that it snowed the night before. We used Park and Ride to get into the city. Well equipped kitchen for cooking meals, we mainly used it to prepare breakfast. The host was gracious and prepared bread rolls, biscuits, milk and cornflakes - thank you! I highly recommend The Tanyard Barn!

The apartment was absolutely beautiful and more than exceeded my expectations, we had a couple of little added extras when we arrived some crisps and pop so was a nice little bonus. We loved the reclining chair and sofa and we did use the pub 1 night and the food was amazing. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was that the pub was only open Wednesday to Sunday as would of been easier to eat at the pub but we did have everything in the apartment to cook, if you do go the pub you have to try the pizza it was all made fresh and would definitely recommend.

It was a very well equipped home from home. The beds were really comfy, the living room was cosy, the kitchen had everything we were looking for and we were delighted to find an apple tree in the front garden with a table and chairs for breakfast outside. The scenery out the windows was picturesque and a fab little park was 5 minutes along the road. We even found a book swap inside an old phone box. It’s like a little house from a story, just perfect.
