The property was located in a quaint neighbourhood, with a few shops nearby, such as bakery, cafe, wine bar, pharmacy, a small supermarket, etc. The house was clean and comfortable, and had all the necessary utilities. If you're visiting York by car then I highly recommend this place. There's also a direct bus that takes you to York city centre, so that may also be a good option.

We loved the pool table and darts board- we used these more than expected and it was a highlight of the trip. The beds were really comfortable and the house was well decorated. Kitchen was lovely and well equipped for our stay.

Wow! Me and my partner stayed at the Dove Cottage. It was absolutely amazing! Beds were super comfy, hot tub easy to use, flat screen tv, beautiful interior, comfortable and cosy. Barely any faults!

The truly warm welcome and support of the hosts. The layout of the rooms. Easy on the eye, easy to use and exceptionally practical. The eggs available on the farm. The abundant sloes in the hedges. The comfort of the bedrooms and beds. Very quiet. The outdoor dining area with view of the duck pond for breakfast. Good access to York (we tried on foot, 55', Bus (hourly), car and taxi (12 GBP). Good proximity to mall (1 km). Exceptional local indian take-out delivers and is very close. Well insulated buildings - no heating needed in our visit but underfloor heating available throughout and wood fire looks very cosy.
