We arrived to a welcome selection of cakes and crumpets, milk/butter/apple juice in the fridge. Was such a sweet touch and our kids were so happy arriving to the apartment. Very quiet heard no noise from outside roads. The road leading upto the property isn't in the best condition and was very bumpy with large potholes but isn't on the flat owner. Very clean and much better standard than we expected. Will definetly be back as it's perfectly located for visiting family in Queensbury.

The bungalow was clean and comfortable with nice furnishings. The garden was lovely and would be great in the summer months.

Fabulous views, really quiet, very well equipped cottage and lovely host who lived next door and made us very welcome. I also loved that the only signage was to help with the recycling, and we weren't hit with a load of do's and don'ts on arrival which we've experience many times in the past at other cottages.

Small and cosy. Beds super comfy and the decor was quirky. The village was absolutely beautiful. Definitely book again

We loved Ashtree House! Chris and Bev are both super friendly and we felt at home straight away. We booked both the rooms and they were both beautiful. Everything was super clean. The breakfast in the morning was delicious too. We had to have breakfast early, because we had to catch the ferry back from Dover to France, but that was no problem for them. We had a delicious Indian dinner at Manzil in the evening. We only stayed for one night, but we wished we booked more nights, because Ashtree House was fantastic and the area is lovely too.
