This cottage is wonderfully appointed -- three bedrooms, three baths with full kitchen and living spaces. Our host, Alex, was so friendly and accommodating. The location is great. It's just a 10 minute drive from Stornaway in what feels like the quiet of a small neighborhood. We only wished we'd been able to stay longer!

Where to begin? Wow! The property is absolutely amazing, and the welcome was both considerate and generous. Tracey was on hand if anything should be needed, and though we had no need to call upon her it was nonetheless reassuring. The accommodation is superbly appointed and extremely well stocked - basically, it’s like you walked into the home you always wanted and everything you’d want/need is there to hand. The beds are comfortable and, when there’s four of you, it helps that there is an en suite in the master bedroom. The situation is also a bonus. Close enough to Stornaway as makes no difference, and thereby as accessible to the main sights as you would want. At the risk of placing it ‘on the map’, and thereby making our own return more difficult, this property should be first on your list.

Property on the main road to the Eye Peninsula, only 10 minute from Stornoway. Very quiet with a view from our patio looking south over the sea. Our host had prepared the apartment to a high standard and provided the basic essentials for our arrival - milk, coffee, tea, sugar and a pack of shortbread biscuits.
