Vi var på jakt etter ett rolig sted, langt fra Platanias hektiske turist område. Vi ønsket å ha ett bosted godt egnet som utgangspunkt for natur og isolerte strand opplevelser. Kioni Villas var perfekt. Nærhet til fjell og kystområdene både sørøst og vest. Lokale tavernaer og stille strender, likevel er det muligheter for parasollstrender og små byer med flere men enkle fasiliteter for de som ønsker det. Leiebil er nødvendig, og du må være noenlunde rutinert sjåfør, da veiene er av ulik kvalitet. For å komme til supermarket må du kjøre ev gå/løpe 4km:) Hyggelige utleier, vennlige svarter hurtig på melding. Vi møtte ikke Katerina personlig, men Maria på tavernaen var alltid tilgjengelig.
