Agree with all the other excellent reviews. This is a special place that has been thoughtfully and thoroughly 'built' to the needs of guests. Breakfast and dinner were fantastic. Garden and surroundings beautiful. Swimming pool is a good size. Nothing was too much and all of our needs were met with a smile. We were picked up from our hotel in Kuta and dropped back off to our hotel in Sanur. We stayed 3 days and enjoyed every minute.

It was incredible! The view and facilities absolutely gorgeous and for this money! Super cute tiny but private nest, very comfy bed and pillows, no odours, no bugs whatsoever thus in the middle of a jungle, spotless and well thought interior. Hot water and well working shower amenities. Just as discribed!

I absolutely loved the garden and the villa and the pool - I liked it so much that I would not like to go for trips and stayed there to simply enjoy the place! Great place to recover and enjoy yourself. The owners are very nice people taking time to talk to their guests. You can get great food here and enjoy massage too, swimming or doing nothing just looking at all the beautiful plants growing here.

We cannot rate this place highly enough! From the moment we arrived down the grand concrete stairs and across the beautiful bridge over the river into reception, Ayu and her family have been the most welcoming and wonderful hosts we have had on our 6month journey around South East Asia so far. It felt like visiting family, and we spent every evening having lovely long talks with Ayu after the most wonderful home cooked Indonesian food in their restaurant. Ayu's husband is a brilliant cook. The hotel is perfectly positioned next to the holy hot springs but there's no real need to visit and pay the entrance fee as you have your own free and private hot spring bath at the hotel. The accommodation is nestled into the green jungle hillside, and in the evening the only things you hear are the crickets and the flow of the spring water, which is truly relaxing. Ayu arranged for her husband to take us to visit the beautiful buddhist monastery (which is also walkable but it was a particularly warm day) at a very reasonable price, but they can also rent you scooters. You can book a lovely peaceful massage right in the grounds of the hotel as well. Nothing was too much trouble, and Ayu also kindly provided us with a kettle for the room. This hotel is just brimming with rustic charm. It is not a 5 star resort, but instead it has the most wonderful character and we didn't want to leave! A lovely breakfast with stunning views. The lodge is close to the Buddhist temple and an easy drive to the Hot Springs. Everyone was so helpful and generous with their time: could organise transport, massages etc. Planning to stay again next year for longer

Breakfast: was toast and Jam but we weren't worried as we had the full kitchen facilities we could have cooked ourselves or go to a nearby restaurant or have it ordered by Grab. Swimming Pool: was big enough could even accommodate a family of 5 -7 easily. bedrooms: the rooms are good in size and they are next of each other with separated entrance from the outside which makes it also suitable if you are 2 families. living room: is separated from the bedrooms and huge
