The proprietors. They were very friendly, chatty and informative. We really liked John's personality and local knowledge. The location was peaceful and pretty. The house was immaculately clean and tidy and smelt wonderful. The shower was very good. The bed felt saggy when we first sat on it but we enjoyed surprisingly comfortable sleeps and the pillows were absolutely wonderful. We also enjoyed chatting to the two lawnmowers, Roberta and Mo (our nicknames for them), who constantly mooched up and down the two lawns flanking the drive.

The room and facilities were lovely, breakfast was great and lovely home made scones and bread. The owners of the bed and breakfast were friendly and helpful, great experiences , and would use this B & B again.

It was in a perfect setting, the studio was beautiful. Immaculate and had everything needed. The host Bernie was so lovely and our dogs loved meeting the house dog who was so chilled and friendly. There was milk, bread, biscuits and butter which was great after a long journey. So many places to choose from to visit and we even had amazing weather!

The location was excellent - it was very relaxing and quiet throughout the entire stay. The amenities were fantastic, the attention to detail was impressive, right down to the carton of milk! The bed was super comfortable and the bedding was very soft. The hot tub was perfect & a great way to end a day of exploring! We could not fault this stay at all, it was everything we could need and want! We would highly recommend to anyone.

    the house is really spacious . my friends and I have rented holiday houses together for years and there are a few things that really stand out with this house for a big group. there is carpet on the stairs....sp no noise for those trying to have a lie in . also the sitting room is the opposite end of the house so does not disturb children if they are in bed before the adults.
