Very nice place to stay in the west of Iceland. Quiet, spacious house, tidy, modern. The outside area is fenced it offers a nice little playground.

We loved everything of this good sized cabin away from everything. It was easy to find. The key was easy to get. The host was very communicative. It had all the necessary items in the kitchen for preparing food and enough glasses and plates and utensils for everyone. There was a dishwasher if you needed to use it and I loved that there was also a cupboard of leftover food (no waste!). There were also a few board games that we played (twister, othello, and a puzzle). There was also a TV, but we did not use it. One of the rooms was upstairs, but it was easy to get to and the bed was comfortable. There was heating in the house so you willl not be cold. If you wanted (and if it wasn´t raining) you could even barbeque and sit on the porch (which we did not use because it was raining). If you want a get away, this is the place.

I really Enjoyed the stay, even though the house itself is not very new. Inside, you will find everything you would need for a short stay, there’s a fully equipped kitchen, small bathroom, one bedroom, and the other bedroom for two additional guests is upstairs in the attic. There is also a living room with different board games available in the TV. The most memorable experience is of course, a hot tub, which is located outside the house on the patio, there is also a barbecue available for guests. A hot tub at is full of water and hot once you arrive, but  you can also add hot or cold water based on your needs. A truly amazing experience, sitting in a hot tub at night looking at a starry sky with no light pollution. We were even lucky enough to see northern lights. I can highly recommend this place.
