The place, in the tranquil countryside, on the shore of a clear river, is fantastic. The house is huge, with all the commodities one could wish of, including a fantastic collection of vinyl records, mostly from the seventies and eighties!

A good budget option as Iceland is expensive. Good location in the small village and lovely swimming pool with two complimentary tickets thrown in. The apartment was clean and comfy and had everything we needed. We wanted to see the northern lights so chose the location as it looked a small place. We only had to go a short distance to be clear of the street lights to see the ‘show’. There used to be a nice family restaurant you can walk to for pizza, proper beef burgers and meat soup. We needed a tin opener so emailed to see if we could borrow one if the owner was local and Kristen arrived at our door 5 minutes later with said item…impressed!

Everything! The place was clean, neat, spacious and new! The kitchen was fully equipped and clean. The host even let is know that we left the car lights on. We would definitely recommend this place.
