"We fell in love with this beautiful old house in Trieste Carso, brimming with character, located in a peaceful village. The village is easily accessible, conveniently situated halfway between the airport and Trieste. There is ample free parking available near the house, which is a great advantage. The owner of the house was incredibly kind and helpful, going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They even prepared a wonderful Slovenian breakfast for us, featuring delicious local produce. We can't recommend this beautiful Carso house enough! It left a lasting impression, and we're already planning to return for a longer stay in the future. The charm of the house, combined with the warm hospitality we received, made our experience truly exceptional. We had a wonderful time at la casa di Gabri. The house and garden are spacious and beautifully decorated, bedrooms have air conditioning, kitchen was well stocked, supplies for children were available (crib, highchair, crayons, etc). The coast is only a short drive away and there is so much to do and enjoy. We had a wonderful stay!

The apartment is absolutely lovely and fully equipped. It would be an ideal place to spend a week. The hosts could not have been more helpful and went above and beyond to help us with logistics as we were on a walking tour and the town is sort of remote.

The room was big! The style was very old but renovated so it was modern even with it's older looks. The host was very generous with breakfast and knowledge of the area. There was a neighborhood cat that greeted us every night when we came home. Great food near by.

So clean and the host was wonderful. It was so lovely to have a balcony and garden space. Plenty of room and storage for clothes. Very well equipped kitchen too.

A beautiful house with nice modern rooms (each has its own bathroom), a spacious living room (kitchen included), a chill-out area outside, and tasty cherries from the garden. It's located in a calm place with some nice restaurants and cafes not far away (10-15 minutes on foot). The beach is also not too overcrowded, and the water is crystal-clear, but you have to plan some time to get there (took us around 10 minutes by bike). The hosts are very helpful and friendly!
